[CP] Jeff Walton: Liberal Clergy Praise Planned Parenthood 'Doing God's Work'

“Our religious traditions call us to offer compassion, not judgment,” the clergy declare. “People who work for Planned Parenthood give care and respect to those in need, doing God’s work. For this we are grateful.”

The Advocacy Board includes clergy from the United Church of Christ, Episcopal Church and American Baptist Churches as well as clergy from Reformed Jewish and Unitarian Universalist congregations.

Among the clergy listed are Episcopal Priest Susan Russell of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California, a prominent lesbian activist within the Episcopal Church who is listed as Vice Chair.

If it weren’t so sad it would be laughable. Killing and then harvesting body parts from viable children is only god’s work if your god is Baal. And the old sad argument about women not being able to get health care but for PP is nothing short of a lie. And even if PP was complying with the law, by taking only reimburse for actual expense, as they say, so what? What kind of a people have we become to think that PP’s abortion services, especially in the 3d trimester, have anything to do with “health care”.

Let PP render “healthcare” in this format to Cecil’s offspring and watch the outcry! Particularly, let them adjust the position of the embryo/fetus/cub so as to get the right parts for research.

    Sure.

  3. Katherine says:

PP clearly does benefit financially from sending parts to labs, even if they only cover their costs. If they didn’t do this, they’d have to pay to properly dispose of the dead babies without any reimbursement.

    Anaxios!
